Слагаме оризът в тенджера заедно с водата на силен огън докато заври, след което намаляне на средна степен. Оставяме го докато поеме водата.</div>

Намаляме котлонът и доливаме прясното мляко. Добавяме захарта и ванилията и оставяме да се вари, докато поеме млякото (за около 20-25 минути, зависи от вида на оризa, бланшираният ориз, например, се готви по-бързо).</div>

Разделяме на порции и поръсваме с канела на прах. Оставяме десертът да изстине.</div>
